About this department
The Central Transport Administration (CTA) — established as a parastatal under the Central Transport Organisation Act (effective September 2013) — is mandated to purchase, maintain, and dispose of government vehicles and other related equipment, and to provide fuel for government vehicles. It also provides short-term vehicle hire services to government ministries and departments. The CTA operates five workshop facilities, located in Mbabane, Matsapha, Nhlangano, Piggs Peak, and Siteki.
