About this department

The Vehicle Anti-Abuse Unit enforces compliance with road-traffic regulations and vehicle roadworthiness standards through targeted roadside enforcement operations. It works alongside the Royal Eswatini Police Service to deter and detect the operation of unroadworthy or non-compliant vehicles on public roads, supporting the Ministry's statutory function under Section 117 of the Road Traffic Law 1965 (as Amended).
